Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

What do reading glasses have to do with strawberries, apart from providing a size reference? Nothing but act as a symbol of my frustration at trying to photograph these strawberries.

I literally put my glasses down, took a deep breath and knew that if there wasn't one picture among those 200 and something, I would never have a picture then.

So this is the frustrated picture.

Deep down I knew I would have used this picture in the end (even though I thought it funny then) but, I still took another hundred, because I'm like that, and deleted them all once I saw them on my laptop.

Blurry, hazy, too close, too far, no reference, too yellow, too cold, bla bla bla.

I prefer to take pictures in natural light, so if I end up using artificial light and flash, please know that it's because I've done everything in my "limited-power-as-an-amateur-photographer" to use the natural light provided by the Universe and got nothing I liked in return.

This was the hardest time I ever had photographing miniatures, so I'm sorry for my introductory rant and for only having two or three pictures to show for the last 3 days of work.

This is my second batch of nine chocolate dipped strawberries in white, dark and milk chocolate. The first one didn't convince me so I thought I'd try something different.

I am very pleased with them, which balances out the photography hiccups, and I admit they do look very cute in this picture.

Hope you're getting on well with the prompts, if you don't know about this exercise I created, you can find all the info here 30daypolymerclayfoodprompt

Three down, 27 to go.

Thanks for reading and I'll catch you next time,

Love, Mai
