Miniature Blood Orange Cupcakes

Hello, nice to see you again.

These past few days I've been working on a set of miniatures for one of my lovely customers, which included lots of little cupcakes! One of my favourite things to make, but who's excited? 🤗

The "Blood orange" themed set included a chocolate and blood orange cake and cupcakes with pink frosting and blood orange slice halves, miniature madeleines, chocolate chip cookies, doughnuts in two different flavours, thumbprint cookies and meringues in assorted pastel colours.

This set was so much fun to make and to arrange on my little table.

Whether you're new to miniature food making in polymer clay or you've been doing it for some time, here are some of my favourite materials and tools that I used to make these minis that I hope you'll find useful:
