Taking A Break

Hello there, nice to see you again, hope you had a fantastic Halloween!

To say that I've been busy is an understatement and one of the reasons I haven't written a blog post in ages and why I wanted to write this one.

Apart from being busy with my job, I'll be moving house soon! I don't know when that will happen exactly but we should have the keys in the next couple of weeks or so and hopefully be in the new place before Christmas. I won't be moving far but we still have to pack our lives and settle them in our new nest. I'm very excited about it and even though I love "My Tower" (and I know I'll miss it, so many memories, so many beginnings) we've been needing a slightly bigger place for some time. The new place still needs some work before we even move in so I don't know how long it will be before I can even start working there or have access to the internet.

For this reason I will be taking a break from Youtube and maybe pick it up again sometime in February. A video may make it to my channel before then, but I can't promise anything for now. You may have noticed I haven't been very active on Youtube for some months now compared to how I used to be, but I haven't been feeling motivated to upload. The reasons vary and the last thing I want is to get into rant mode listing them here, so I'll just say is not very instinctive for me anymore.

Because I know that a lot of you really enjoyed my 12 Days Of Christmas videos last year and some of you have already been asking me to do something similar this year, I wanted to put this out there. You can still watch last year's videos and get into the Christmas spirit nonetheless! And if you really want to take a walk down memory lane, you can watch my ClayMas videos from 2014!

My latest projects include some mini blueberry cakes, confetti cakes (available here on my shop and my Etsy), brownies and ice-cream (some of which I have yet to photograph) and my latest recycled jar house was a haunted house inspired by the Spadena House in Beverly Hills. You can find the video on my Youtube Channel.

Thank you very much for reading and I'll catch you next time,

Love, Mai.
